Grant WritingRegional Nonprofit Health Network

Securing $1.2M in Federal Funding for Community Health Access

The Challenge

A regional nonprofit health network serving underserved rural communities had never successfully competed for federal grants. With a strong program model but limited grant-writing capacity, they were leaving significant funding on the table and struggling to sustain core services.

Our Approach

We conducted a full funding landscape analysis, identified three high-fit federal opportunities, and led the development of a comprehensive grant proposal package. We worked closely with the organization's leadership to articulate their program model, document community need, and build a compelling evidence-based narrative aligned with funder priorities.

Electoral & Advocacy ConsultingFirst-Time Municipal Candidate

Winning a Competitive City Council Race with a 12-Point Margin

The Challenge

A first-time candidate running for city council in a competitive district had strong community roots but no campaign infrastructure, no messaging framework, and limited fundraising experience. The incumbent had held the seat for eight years.

Our Approach

We built the campaign from the ground up developing a clear message platform, designing a voter contact strategy, training a volunteer team, and managing a targeted digital and door-to-door outreach program. We used polling data to sharpen the candidate's positioning and focused resources on high-turnout precincts in the final weeks.

Launching a Scalable Service Business from Concept to Revenue in 90 Days

The Challenge

An entrepreneur with deep industry expertise and a clear service vision had been stuck in the planning phase for over a year. She lacked a structured business plan, had not formed a legal entity, and was unsure how to price, package, and market her services to attract her first clients.

Our Approach

We facilitated a structured discovery process to define her service model, target market, and competitive positioning. We developed a full business plan, guided entity formation, built a pricing and packaging framework, and created a 90-day go-to-market plan with specific client acquisition milestones.

Education ConsultingUrban School District

Designing an Equity-Centered Literacy Strategy Across 14 Schools

The Challenge

An urban school district was facing persistent literacy gaps, with third-grade reading proficiency rates well below state averages in its highest-need schools. Prior interventions had been fragmented and inconsistently implemented, and teachers reported feeling unsupported in differentiating instruction for diverse learners.

Our Approach

We conducted a comprehensive diagnostic across 14 schools — reviewing assessment data, observing classrooms, and interviewing teachers, principals, and district leaders. We developed a multi-year literacy strategy grounded in evidence-based practice, co-designed professional development programming, and built an implementation roadmap with clear accountability structures.

Polling & SurveysStatewide Advocacy Coalition

Shaping a Winning Policy Campaign with Voter Sentiment Research

The Challenge

A statewide advocacy coalition was preparing to launch a major public campaign around a ballot initiative but lacked current data on voter attitudes, message resonance, and opposition vulnerabilities. Without this intelligence, they risked investing significant resources in a strategy that did not reflect the electorate's actual views.

Our Approach

We designed and fielded a statistically representative statewide survey of 800 likely voters, testing message frames, identifying persuadable segments, and mapping opposition arguments. We delivered a full research report with strategic recommendations, and worked with the coalition's communications team to translate findings into a refined campaign message platform.
